This postcard shows the view down Franklin street around the 1920s or 30s. The streetcar tracks can be seen on the left side of the road. Hagedorn’s Tavern is one of the gray and green buildings on the right side of the street, about half way down what is visible in this postcard. The block at that time also held commercial buildings like department stores.
