A ceremony in May 1933 was held to dedicate a grave marker sponsored by the Alexander Hamilton Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The graveside ceremony included the reading of the story of Abner Hank’s life read by Miss Virginia Patterson, a descendent of Hanks.
