Hopewell Flag

The regimental flag of the 7th Indiana Infantry Regiment, Company F, was hand-sewn by ladies of the Hopewell Presbyterian Church. It survived many battles and is on display at the Johnson County Museum of History in Franklin. It is has been said that William “Billy” Davis of Company F picked up the flag twice after its bearers were struck down in battle.
