The Schroeder Saddletree Factory is the last of America's wooden saddle frame manufactories dating to the 19th century. In business from 1878 to 1972, this rare, restored industrial gem preserves the heritage of a little known craft critical to transportation in the US in the 1800s and early 1900s.
