This image from about 1887, looking northward up Liberty Street (now part of North Park Avenue) from East Vermont, shows the first location of St. Vincent's Infirmary (1881-1889), visible on the far side of the chapel in the foreground of this image. These buildings are of the Gothic Revival style.
