This grave marker reads, “GENERAL PROTESTANT ORPHANS HOME, IN MEMORY OF OUR DEPARTED CHILDREN, ERECTED BY THE ALUMNI”. Crown Hill Cemetery is the resting place for over twenty children who passed away while residing at the orphanage. The Crown Hill Cemetery Chapel, also designed German-American architect Diedrich A. Bohlen, stands on the cemetery grounds. | Source: Find a GraveDownload Original File
